Walls Coveralls Vs Carhar

Like a Haiku

"traveler" I want to be named, now that falls

the first downpour of the season.
Matsuo Basho, the name of art Munefusa Matsuo (1644-1694)

Sometimes there are amazing things.
Sure, we have become accustomed to the "Major Events" and stuck up their nose to the little things, those around the corner from our house, those who have a profile non-professional and spectacular.

Yet knowing see the extraordinary in what is not glamorous, gives often wonder and joy.

Like a Haiku, this humble exhibition (in the best sense of the word) devoted to Japan by the Xaverian Fathers Brescia may very lovely pics, can speak of a search of profound and delicate 'harmony, as can be seen in the kimono, in the screen and in all small objects linked to the traditions and rites of this country.
You can tell by the delicate matching of colors, fabrics and materials, the sensitivity in the choice of forms and symmetries.
There are kimono, there are samurai swords, items for the ritual of tea.
There are brushes to write. There is a harmony

delicate as a petal and precious as a Haiku.

PS: I recommend you visit the Library of the Fathers Xaverian where everything is chaos. Among books stacked in bulk, stacked, dusty, you may be found in the book for you.
Or you may simply come across in a robin flitting among the shelves as it happened to me today.
